Colorado QSO Party

O

Join us for Colorado’s annual on-air amateur radio event. Everyone is welcome!

About The Event

The Colorado QSO Party is all about getting on the air and making contacts with Colorado! There’s no pressure—work one station or chase all 64 counties, it’s totally up to you. The goal just to get on the air. Whether you make 5 contacts or 500, just jump in and have fun.

We make mentoring a priority. Our rules allow unlimited operators at one station to create opportunities for newer hams to get on the air with an “Elmer” in a low-pressure, friendly environment.

POTA fans: you can totally double-dip! Activate a park during COQP and knock out two activities at once. Bonus points if you pick a rare county—you’ll have everyone chasing you!

If you’re from out of state, consider planning a vacation in Colorado and operating the QSO Party while you’re here.

Many thanks to our generous sponsors!

Live tracking of mobile/portable

Get those rare counties by tracking mobile and portable stations with the Mobile Tracker.

State QSO Party Challenge

Your contacts during the COQP will count toward the State QSO Party Challenge, which is a challenge that involves QSO parties from 47 states!

There’s even a “Worked All QSO Parties” Award. Learn more here: https://stateqsoparty.com/

We’re testing a spot listing feature that will show spots for stations in the COQP.
On May 9, we’ll test it by filtering spots for the Canadian Prairie QSO Party, which starts at 1700z.
